Discover the peace and solitude of the Welsh countryside, green pastureland, deserted beaches, narrow country roads, ans the rocky heights of Snowdonia. This is not a tour for the masses, but for a small group of like minded people, who would like to be "Far From the Madding Crowd" for a day!

Croeso i Gymru – Welcome to Wales

Your First Choice for Small Group Tours in Wales

Now, in our 21st year of providing high quality holiday programmes for visitors to Wales, we believe our new 2015 itineraries will interest those who want to experience a truly in-depth tour of Wales, and not simply a fleeting glimpse of the main attractions.

People who have enjoyed being on our tours are those who like to travel away from busy roads at a relaxed pace as part of a small group.

We’ve learnt much over the past twenty years by listened to our customers’ comments, for instance, we know that the majority dislike early starts after a rushed breakfast, or having to pack and unpack every other day to move on to the next hotel.

They like to be allowed time to gain a genuine insight into the local culture, and as many opportunities as possible to taste the delicious regional cuisine and chat with ordinary people going about their everyday lives.

They like to us to avoid busy roads and seek out ‘backroads’ whenever possible; they like frequent stops and are always on the lookout for the unexpected event and spot wonderful photo opportunities.

We are also well aware how much our clients appreciate our popular practice of including all breakfasts and all evening dinners in the price of the tour, as well as not having any ‘hidden’ extras, we also cover all admission and entry charges.

Our aim is to provide this as part of a quality holiday which is well-balanced between dramatic mountain and coastal scenery, our Welsh heritage, fine gardens, mighty castles and other great attractions. We use a Mercedes mini-coach, large enough to be comfortable and small enough to negotiate the narrow mountain roads of Snowdonia.

I hope to meet you in Wales in 2015.

Warmest regards

Idwal
